Chak De!

wtchd chak de after a lot of effort..
tickets were booked everywhere as it
ws weekend....finally we managed to
book tickets at wave,noida that too near
t front row....the movie was ok...good casting...
n good timing also!...independence day...
t movie gives ur patriotism a high by creating
unrealistic situations....anyway t movies a good
entertainer which wont leave u boring.....

Unfortunately.I have wtchd t keanu reeves
starrer'Hardball", a similar movie about an underdog team
and a coach....and Chak De wsnt even near to Hardball
in terms of craft or acting....Hardball was far more touching
which Chak De couldnt somehow achieve....i mean u
can sense that smthin is false..smthin which has been done
for an ego massage..in Chak De...smthin to exploit t patriotic
feeling considering t I-Day.You
wont come out of Chak De feeling convinced thouroughly...
i mean jus because sm two forwards put aside their egos
Indian team won the world cup!...is it tht simple?...
it didnt touch major issues like lack of training facilities,
pickin players early in school,struggle of players,hw t
rules of hockey were changed for the advantage of the
western world n all...

still it touches worthy issues like gender discrimination,
teamwork,overenthusiasm about cricket,sponsors....
n kudos to the team for that....

bt i suggest you to watch 'hardball' n thn c chak de...
you can spot t difference!...

Overall Chak De is a nice entertainer n t cast has done a good job!...
