Commoditising CHE..

This issue has been disturbing my mind for a long time...
everytime i see a guy/gal wearin a che tee/tattoo/bandana/
locket/bag,this issue comes into my mind....hw cm globalisation
could so easlily commoditise CHE?...today  its hard to walk within
a crowded market without hittin a CHE spottin merchandise.....
the worst part is that most of the guys who wear che doesnt
know who he was....i heard sm guy explainin to his fren that che
is an icon of pop culture!...i mean..hw cn u utter such crap..but sadly
most of the guys dnt know much abt him except as a fashion
statement...che was a brilliant revolutionary who fought against t puppet
govt. in cuba along with fidel etc...he was killed by americans durin
t guirella war in bolivia...he ws an icon who fought against american
imperialism....bt nw u have american brands makin money on him
by sellin che merchandise....and we buy it as a symbol of revolution
n rebel attitude!!...this is an example of t famous'"contain n destroy" strategy
usually used by america...reducin che to a fad....all t ppl who buy che merchandise
must realise this...wearing a che merchandise wnt make u rebel or revolutionary..
rather you are contributing to the establishment!...t very establishment against
which che fought...you can agree or disagree with che's political views but if u r
buyin che merchandise due to t revolutionary spirit attatched to it,then u r
bein duped by t establishment!..

go..better read bolivian diary or watch motorcycle diaries....

hi binil,
all d revolutionaries of d past r lost n oblivion..no one remembers MAO or LENIN orMARX or LENIN for dat matter..if CHE is remembered 2day..its due 2 globalisation n commoditisin..history sometimes repeates like dis..just an irony..still he is immortal though as brand flags..and not all r ignorant of who is che...dat can be pardonable as u can find even politburo members who had not read even communist manifesto.... so cool baby.......
